Chef Jonathan Villar brings years of experience from London's diverse culinary scene into a focused expression of Himalayan cuisine.
At The Laughing Yak, his approach is simple - respect tradition, elevate flavour, and create dishes that bring people together. From handcrafted momos to carefully curated tasting menus, every plate reflects a balance of authenticity and creativity.
Jonathan's work is rooted in community, with a strong emphasis on local dining experiences, shared moments, and food that feels both exciting and familiar.

Anish Karki
Chef de Cuisine
Originally from Butwal, Anish is very passionate about food.
His creations are both traditional & modern but keeping the flavours that he grew up with back in Nepal.
He came here as a student but followed his calling in the culinary world.
